Welcome to our first variety series, this one grown by producer Nestor Lasso. To showcase flavor diversity, each variety was harvested simultaneously while undergoing the same Anaerobic Washed processing method. Typica is thought to be the first cultivated variety and is sought after for its in-your-face flavors. After almost vanishing due to low yield and poor disease resistance, high altitude farms have played a role in keeping the variety alive.
